I really, really hope I don't burn myself out on this because I've been writing these posts with a great deal of zeal and enthusiasm and eventually I'm going to set the bar too high for myself. Granted this could all be remedied with a lot less rambling and a lot more recipe-only, so... note to self.
In the meantime, my editor Doniree (I have an editor, guys) called my series "a little 'My Drunk Kitchen,' a little 'How Sweet Eats,' and a whole lotta awesome."
Which is basically the best compliment I've ever gotten.
