Na Na Na Na Na NABLO!

Somewhere near the beginning of October, it crossed my mind that NaBloPoMo was coming up. I practically scoffed at myself at the thought of participating again. I'd written a whole 5 posts in September, and I was off of my 2011 pace by somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 posts. (At the end of September 2011, I had 167 posts so far for the year. At the end of September 2012, I had... 79. If this was a job, I would be fired for not meeting my quota.)

"NoBlo will eat you alive. You'll never get through it."

But the thing is, I've done it - successfully - the last two years. Where I failed at NaNoWriMo, I've succeeded at NaBloPoMo. It would be a pity to break that streak.

So I'm going to try it again.

This will go one of two ways. It can be an epic failure (see: September) or it can be a nice kick in the pants to get me churning out content again (I even started an editorial calendar!). Fingers crossed for the latter. I operate under the Horton Principle* when it comes to NaBlo: a post is a post no matter how small. Photo posts count. Short posts count. It would likely be beneficial to me to learn some brevity, anyway.

*I just made that up. It's a thing now. Says me.

So here goes nothing, or, maybe, here goes something. I'm all in for the month of November. Let's see if we can't revive this space, eh?

Interesting! I have some blog posts lined up - I'm thinking I could probably do NaBloPoMo... I've never heard of it before, but I've done pretty decent at NaNoWriMo, I was the ML for CR for quite a while. I kind of miss it, but definitely don't have the time or patience for it these days! Blog posts... that I might be able to do! Hmm...

Hi, I am visiting you from NaBloPoMo. I've signed up for it too, and also looking to discover new interesting blogs. Love the name of your blog! I have a food blog mainly, and your "about" page had links to your recipes. So, we have that in common. :) Julia |
